A new season, a new look, a new future.
ONCE A REGAL, ALWAYS A REGAL.

Well its 4 games into the 2008/09 season and here is YOUR first Regals Recap.
Lets start with the season that was, and thank all of the players, coaches and staff that have moved on from last season.
It would be a big mistake to mention the longest serving Regal who has decided to step away from the team,
Alan Haycraft.
Al has decide to step down after the better part of 2 decades as President of the Regals program. Al has stated he will still be around the rink for consultation as Past President.
From all the Regals family, past and present, Thank You.
Players:
Players: Josh Baron, Lee Stupar, Corey Smith, Theron Kolla, Jeff Creasor, Nathan Oswald, Adam Pretty, Kris Myshak, Mike McVey, Kurt Malmas and Mike Carr.
Coaches: Matt Harder and Mark Bradshaw
You all optimize exactly what a Regal is supposed to be. You all gave 100% and conducted yourself with class. Good luck to all where ever life takes you.
Now on with the new season.
The Regals organization would like to welcome all the new faces both player and coaches to the Regals family. We may win or lose, but we are a team.
Sept 26 2008 Regals v Flyers
Well, what away to start a season. Against a foe since, well, the beginning of time. It was a game of who would make the least mistakes. Because it seemed that every mistake led to a goal. In the end the Regals prevailed 5 -3.
Oct 3 2008 Regals @ Riggers
Not much can be said about this game as I was unable to attend. I was told it was a had working game and both teams match up very well. Nothing was solved through 65 mins of play and needed a shoot out to decide a winner. After 8 shooters a side the Riggers took the game with a 4 -3 final score.
Oct 5 2008 Regals v Merchants
The Regals came out and fired the puck from all angles at the Merchants goaltender Ronaldson who saw more rubber than a dead skunk on Hwy 16, but unfotunately most of the attempts were stopped. The Regals did manage to get 4 past the rookie tender, and took the game 4 -3.
Oct 8 2008 Regals @ Red Wings
So what is it about these teams, that they just can't get along? Through 2 and 9/10ths periods of hockey these 2 teams played great defensive and transitional hockey. then all heck broke loose. 3 fights all on the same play will lead to multiple suspensions for both teams. Kudos goes out to the Regals who defended thier goaltender and his crease on the play. As well Kudos go to Jory for stepping up probably 4 weight classes and put up a valiant effort after getting, how would you put it, informed he was going to fight whether he wanted to or not by the #18 of the Wings. 2 of 3 tussles went the Regals way, But the most important fact of the night though is the Regals went into Clareview and skated out with the win. Final score Regals 3 Wings 2.
GO REGALS !!!
